Terms of service

Plain terms for plain software.

Last updated: 2026-05-27 · Draft pending legal review

1. The service

Lumium is a self-hosted AI agent platform. The runtime runs entirely on your infrastructure. The console and paid features are governed by these terms.

2. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the model providers you connect, the prompts you send, and the actions agents take inside your environment. Approve risky tool calls deliberately. We provide controls; you operate them.

3. Provider relationships

Your relationship with model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Cohere, Ollama, and others) is between you and them. Lumium routes requests using credentials you supply and is not a party to those agreements.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t use Lumium to build weapons, harass people, or violate the law. Don’t use it to bypass other systems’ access controls. Don’t use it to generate CSAM or any content that exploits minors.

5. Warranty

Lumium is provided “as is.” Agents can make mistakes. Tools can have bugs. Models hallucinate. Review what an agent does before letting it touch production.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumium and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for damages exceeding the fees you paid in the prior 12 months.

7. Termination

You can stop using Lumium at any time. Uninstall the app, delete the local SQLite file, and you’re done. We can suspend paid accounts for material breach of these terms after written notice.
