Lumium for healthcare
Protected data stays inside the covered entity.
Clinical and operational teams want help with the documentation load. The blocker is the same every time: the data cannot go to a vendor tenancy to get it.
The blocker is the tenancy, not the model
Most agent tools assume the work leaves the building. For a covered entity that assumption turns a productivity project into a business-associate agreement with a vendor whose whole product is the tenancy.
Lumium removes that step. The console, the agent loop, and the records run on infrastructure you control, and the only outbound traffic is a model call you registered yourself.
That leaves the questions your privacy office actually cares about: minimum necessary access, who read what, and what happened during the run.
What your reviewers will ask
Minimum necessary access
Agents are assigned per project, so a documentation agent never inherits access to an unrelated dataset.
Who did what
Tool calls, approvals, and policy decisions are recorded against the run that produced them.
Model review
Register approved models once for the organization and allowlist them per project.
Credential handling
Secrets are encrypted at rest and referenced by name. Values never reach a prompt, a log, or the interface.
What you actually deploy
- One Node process inside your network
- SQLite or libSQL database you already back up
- Local object storage, or S3-compatible when you need it
- Model registry with a per-project allowlist and your own keys
- Project membership as the authorization boundary
- Encrypted secrets that never enter prompts or logs
- Ledger records with an organization-wide sequence
- Approval-gated, audited tool calls
- No telemetry of its own
Lumium is in early access. There is no certification to point at yet, and nothing on this page should be read as one.
Who this is for
Privacy officer
Data-flow answers that end inside the entity.
CMIO
Agent help on the operational work without a new disclosure.
IT security
A single Node process to review instead of a vendor questionnaire.
Clinical informatics
Knowledge scoped per project, with conversation notes kept separate.
Keep the work inside the boundary you already have.
Run Lumium in a non-production environment first, with synthetic data, and see how the records read before anyone touches patient information.
