Lumium for manufacturing

Design IP stays in the plant.

Drawings, process data, and supplier information are the business. Nobody signs up to ship them to a model vendor.

The IP is the product

Manufacturers have decades of fixtures, tolerances, and process knowledge wrapped up in files that cannot leave the network. That rules out most hosted tools on the first call.

Lumium runs inside the plant or the corporate network and keeps the knowledge model-neutral, so the same project can move from a local model to a hosted one when policy allows.

Engineering change, quality, and supplier documentation work gets an agent surface with a record of what was read and changed.

What your reviewers will ask

Proprietary designs

Drawings and process data stay in your database and object store.

Supplier boundaries

Project membership keeps supplier-facing work separate from internal engineering.

Plant networks

Deploy on the segment you choose, with no dependency on an external service.

Traceability

Every run and tool call is recorded, so an engineering change can be traced to what produced it.

What you actually deploy

  • One Node process inside your network
  • SQLite or libSQL database you already back up
  • Local object storage, or S3-compatible when you need it
  • Model registry with a per-project allowlist and your own keys
  • Project membership as the authorization boundary
  • Encrypted secrets that never enter prompts or logs
  • Ledger records with an organization-wide sequence
  • Approval-gated, audited tool calls
  • No telemetry of its own

Lumium is in early access. There is no certification to point at yet, and nothing on this page should be read as one.

Who this is for

VP engineering

Agent help on technical documentation without an IP review.

Quality manager

Process and corrective-action documentation that stays internal.

IT lead

One deployment with a backup story that fits existing operations.

Plant manager

Assistance close to the floor, scoped to the project's own files.

Bring the assistant to the work, not the data out.

Start with one engineering or quality project and a local model, then widen the scope when the record proves itself.
